Effect of physical load on handgun shooting accuracy
Vokoun, Jaroslav ; Pavelka, Radim (advisor) ; Hermel, Ivan (referee)
Title: Effect of physical load on handgun shooting accuracy. Objective: The aim of this work is to detect and compare the effects of physical activity (in the form of a shuttle run at the limit of 85% SF max.) on the shooting accuracy from a short firearm. Methods: This was an experimental study with an intra-subject design. Thirty randomly assigned police officers at age 35.9 years (SD = 4.5) made 5 shots from a Glock 17 pistol (gen. 3) within 5 seconds in a stable position without support before and after physical activity (shuttle run on length10 m in time until the completion of 85% SF max.) to a fixed target at a distance of 8 meters. Comparison of shooting accuracy from the middle point of impact between interventions (shooting before and after physical activity) was performed by using a paired T-test. The level of statistical significance was set at p ≥ 0.05. Cohen's d was used to determine the magnitude of the strength of the effects. Results: Based on the paired T-test, a statistically significant difference was found in the accuracy of shooting from the middle point of impact without and after physical activity (p = 0.007, d = 0.498). We also consider the deterioration of shooting accuracy after physical exertion by 9 mm from the middle point of impact, which is 21.78%, to be factually...
Effect of different shooting technique on its accuracy and ball velocity in floorball players
Pekárková, Nikol ; Gryc, Tomáš (advisor) ; Dragounová, Zuzana (referee)
Name: The influence of shooting technique on its accuracy and ball speed in floorball players Goal: The purpose of the work was to verify the procedure for testing the shooting level of male and female floorball players and then to identify and describe the differences in the parameters of ball speed and shooting accuracy between four different types of shots (pull, wrist, golf, hammer) when shooting at two different locations (top and down). Methods: The research group consisted of 2 male and 2 female floorball players of the highest youth competition. Ball speed was measured using a Stalker Solo2 radar device and 2D video analysis using a SONY video camera and TEMA software was used to analyze accuracy. The individual targets for shooting were marked out using holes in the training sheet, which was placed on the floorball goal. The goal was 4 meters away from the shooting spot, and players shot at the goal in random order of shot types and target location. Data were evaluated in MS Excel. A two- sample T-test (p <0.05) was used to express the difference between individual shot types, target location and between men and women. Results: We found significant differences in ball speed: between the pull shot and the wrist, between the wrist and the golf ball, and between the golf ball and the putter....

Title: The Influence of Selected Elements of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation with the Use of Elastic Resistance on the Speed and Accuracy of Shooting of Extraliga Ball Hockey Players in the Czech Republic Objectives: The main aim of the diploma thesis was to evaluate the influence of selected elements of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation with the use of elastic resistance on the speed and accuracy of shooting of Extraliga ball hockey players in the Czech Republic. Methods: Extraliga ball hockey players in the Czech Republic (n = 30; age = 24,70 ± 4,55 years; body height = 182,67 ± 6,12 cm; weight = 83,35 ± 9,17 kg; BMI = 24,97 ± 2,37 kg/m2 ; overall years of ball hockey experience = 13,10 ± 3,82 years) were randomly divided into two groups - the experimental, PNF group (n = 15) and control group (n = 15). Before commencing the study, both groups' shooting speed was measured using the Supido Multi Sports Personal Speed Radar, and shooting accuracy using a practice sheet cover. Probands from the experimental group performed selected exercises containing elements of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation with elastic resistance daily for 8 weeks. The control group did not perform any exercises beyond the regular training units. The study was conducted at the time of the Covid-19...
Influence of physical demands on shooting accuracy with hand-operated weapon
Sýkora, Michal ; Michalička, Vladimír (advisor) ; Barták, Erik (referee)
Title: Influence of physical demands on shooting accuracy with hand-operated weapon. Objectives: Aim of this thesis is compare how physical load, present by Burpee motor abilities test, aplicate on selected group of soldiers influence their shooting accuracy from pistol in stand up position with bouth hands grip at standing target. Aggregate of twenty test subjects is comosed of policemen from Department of protect and escort Military police Prague and students from VO at FTVS UK in Prague. Methods: For statistical data processing we used the method of comparison and comparison of averages. To determine statistical significance, we used two- tailed, paired t - test. For the evaluation targets, we used numerical method for detecting mean point of impact. Results: The measured data were processed statistically, it was found that physical activity has statistical effect on the shooting accuracy, while standing and with both hands grip, from pistole in the first group (MP). The second measurement work out similary, which mean physical exercise has statistical effect on the shooting accuracy, while standing and with both hands grip, from pistole. Furthermore, we found that the greatest influence on shooting accuracy after physical exertion realized by Burpee test, have the individual level of fitness...
The shooting accuracy of junior basketball in different levels ( regional league, junior league)\\
ROUBÍČEK, Martin
In my thesis I have been dealing with shooting accuracy of juniors in Bohemia Poděbrady in regional league. The aim of my work was to find out the effectivenes of shooting during matches, from particular positions and distance. The data were gained from technical records during one season period. The gathered data were compared with the results of technical records of juniors playing the first junior league and with the results of a shooting test in noncompetitive conditions. The examined group contained thirty players. Obtained results will be used for improvement of shooting training of juniors in Bohemia Poděbrady and can be the basement for works of similar kind.
